Exports

Like many successful companies SSE has recognised the value of the export market and is continually working to extend it’s presence in this area.

In order to achieve this, the Company continually monitors market trends, currency fluctuations and any other major influences that will affect the viability of our position in the market place.

Although it is our standard practice to quote enquiries Ex-works. SSE Pipefittings will co-operate with our customers worldwide delivering consignments to the final destination. As a Manufacturer of butt weld fittings we are aware that many of our Customers prefer to consolidate our goods with those from the pipe, flange and ancillaries suppliers to enable containerisation for economic shipments. The Company will at the customers’ requirements pack in suitable containers for the type of transport specified by the order.

All packing will be in accordance with the ISPM 15 requirements governing wood and wood derivatives used in packing.

In order to ensure the company has access to the latest government and legislation requirements SSE Pipefittings are members of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce who have an export office based locally to provide support and back-up.

The Company monitors events around the world and works with the Shipping and Forwarding agents to minimise the risk of delays due to actions by third parties on the transport route. Our export statement can be downloaded here.
